More than half of Democrats do not want Biden for 2024

In a new poll, more than half of Democratic voters said that Joe Biden, the current president of the United States, should not run for a second term in the 2024 election.

According to trends , citing the Hill news site, a new USA Today-Ipsos poll showed that 56 percent of Democratic voters are against Biden’s re-nomination, although they approved of Biden’s experience, political knowledge and administration’s focus on American unity. 60% of Democrats believe that if Biden runs again in 2024, he can win.

In contrast, 82% of Republican voters think that Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, can win the 2024 election, and 59% believe that Trump deserves re-election and should be the Republican candidate in this race.

Biden has announced that despite his age and low popularity, he fully intends to run for the 2024 election. However, Trump has not yet officially announced whether he will run for the third time in the presidential election or not, but he has mentioned this issue many times.

90% of Republican voters believe that Trump tends to use all the tools at his disposal to get things done, while 73% of Democrats share the same opinion about Biden.  

85% of Democrats believe that Biden is focused on American unity and a path to compromise, while 70% of Republicans feel the same way about Trump.

According to pollsters from both parties, the Democratic Party is more likely than the Republican Party to be seen as the party that is more inclusive and willing to compromise to get things done, while the Republican Party is more likely to be seen as the party that deals with the economy. The country is suitable and has a rigid stance against crime.  

This survey was conducted online between August 18 and 22, and 2,345 adults participated in it, and the percentage of error is estimated to be plus or minus 2.5 percent.
