You do not have to be rich or famous to be able to take a space trip.

The nonprofit Space for Humanity is currently registering for the Astronaut Citizen program , according to trends. During this program, people are supposed to be trained to perform sub-orbital flights, and the company will pay for their space travel. But you have to hurry to register because the registration deadline  is February 15 .

The overall goal of this program is to improve life on Earth by creating an “overview effect”. The “panorama effect” that is common among astronauts occurs when one first looks at the globe from a space perspective.

So if you are lucky enough to be selected by this company, you will join a group of passionate people who are all expected to do great things when they return to Earth.

“Enthusiasm is one of the company’s main criteria for selecting people,” says Rachel Lyons, CEO of Space for Humanity. Because the effect of the overview has historically acted as a fuel, encouraging people to work on topics that are important to them.

Two British and American scientists have claimed that space explorers could become cannibals if food becomes scarce in future space bases if they have difficulty planning and supplying equipment!

Now, two scientists in an interview with Metro.co.uk claim that the main problem of colonizing other planets is food supply, which will lead to space explorers becoming cannibals!

The two scientists cite food shortages, disease and inability to be self-sufficient as major threats to any space colony, as it will take years to help them from Earth.

Charles Cockell, professor of astronomy at the University of Edinburgh, and Dr. Cameron Smith, anthropologist at Portland State University, have two moons, one belonging to the planet Jupiter called Callisto. (Callisto) and another suggested Saturn’s moon Titan as possible human destinations for future residence, but did not hesitate to mention the dangers of habitation.

To prevent this bitter future, they suggested to humans and officials that they first try to settle in closer space destinations such as the Moon and Mars, where it is closer to Earth and more easily accessible from Earth, and technologies for colonizing other planets. They can be tested and completed.

The two leading scientists, who deal with how to leave Earth, talked about the challenges and opportunities of colonizing another moon or planet. Rejecting the possibility of human movement to many planets in our solar system, mainly because their surfaces are uninhabitable, they considered Callisto and Titan as possible destinations.

Fortunately, Cockle argued that the technology needed to properly colonize other planets now exist and make it possible to live on Mars for the next 30 to 40 years. There is a caveat, however, that the technology must be thoroughly tested and tested here on Earth before it can be deployed in space. Dr. Cameron Smith also believes that food resources are a key issue in this regard.

“One of the first things space explorers have to do is create a really good farming system and put a lot of stored food in it,” he explained.

One problem that is now more familiar to us and more tangible than ever is the issue of disease, which is on the anthropologist’s list of important challenges. He argued that large populations divided into self-sufficient settlements could be quarantined if necessary.

However, Dr. Smith is less likely to believe that if things go wrong and humans eat each other. “Historical examples show that our species can respond positively or negatively to challenging conditions,” he said.

He cited the example of an Uruguayan rugby team that worked together constructively in 1972 after their plane crashed and ran out of food. Although the survivors eventually turned to cannibalism, they used the meat of those who had lost their lives.

Dr. Smith added that it is possible to prevent any disturbance of order by creating pre-agreed rules to comply with in the event of special circumstances.

However, he is less optimistic about the speed of human habitation in space than Professor Kakel. He thinks life on Mars may be possible in the next 30 to 40 years alone, but life on Callisto will last 100 years.

Smith says it is difficult to predict a timetable, but believes that any effort is only possible by the end of the current century, adding that it will take at least 60 years or more for a colony to become fully self-sufficient.

However, Professor Kakel believes that the technology of our life in space already exists and should only be developed and tested.

He explains that creating a reliable source of oxygen is not that difficult and that food and water supply solutions are well developed, but these things must be tested 10 to 20 years before they can be implemented.
